Terms of Service

Welcome to Light Show Creator ("Service", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Light Show Creator is a web application that lets you design, preview, generate, and export vehicle light show sequences (including .fseq files) intended for use with supported Tesla vehicle light show features. The Service may change over time as we add or remove features.

Light Show Creator is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Tesla, Inc. Tesla and related marks are trademarks of their respective owners.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Service. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or other users
• Upload malware or content that infringes others' rights
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service beyond normal product use, except where applicable law allows
• Misrepresent that Light Show Creator or your shows are official Tesla products or services

4. Your content

You retain ownership of light shows, sequences, titles, descriptions, audio you upload for personal use in the editor, and other content you create ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service (for example, saving your shows and rendering previews).

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any audio or other materials you use with the Service. We do not claim ownership of third-party music you load for timing or generation.

5. Vehicle use and safety

Exported shows are for entertainment. You are solely responsible for how you install, play, and use light shows on any vehicle, including compliance with local traffic and safety laws. Do not operate a vehicle unsafely or illegally in connection with a light show. Use USB and vehicle features only as described by your vehicle manufacturer.

We do not guarantee that any sequence will work on every vehicle, software version, or USB configuration. Vehicle firmware and light show formats can change without notice.

6. Exports and third-party tools

You may export files such as .fseq for offline use. Compatibility with xLights, Tesla light show playback, or other tools is provided on a best-effort basis and is not guaranteed.

7. Subscriptions and billing

A free account includes one light show. Additional shows require a paid subscription. Current paid plans are $9.99 per month and $89.99 per year, billed in advance. Prices are shown at checkout and may change for future billing periods; we will not change the price of a period already paid.

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method until you cancel. You can manage or cancel your subscription from Account settings (which opens Stripe's customer portal) or through Stripe. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated at cancellation. You keep access to Pro features until that date. After it ends, your existing shows remain, but you cannot create additional shows beyond the free limit until you resubscribe or delete shows to get back within the limit.

Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or where we choose to issue a refund at our discretion. If a payment fails, we may retry the charge and suspend Pro access until payment succeeds.

8. Intellectual property

The Service—including software, design, branding, and documentation—is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you rights to our trademarks or branding except as needed to use the Service.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR ANY EXPORTED SHOW. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100).

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will survive termination.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
